How nomination works
Citizenship is granted only through the Rulers' and Crown Princes' Courts, the Executive Councils and the Cabinet, on the nomination of federal entities. Nominees take an oath of allegiance, commit to UAE law and must report any other citizenship they gain or lose. For most investors, long-term residence through the Golden Visa is the practical route.1
