Abu Dhabi's G42 and five of its companies, Khazna, Core42, Presight, Inception42 and M42, signed pacts with Greek partners on AI infrastructure, public services and life sciences.

Abu Dhabi technology group G42 and five of its portfolio companies have signed initial agreements with Greek public and private partners covering AI infrastructure, government services, life sciences and smart cities, The National reported on 23 October. The agreements were part of the 18 deals worth EUR 12.75 billion announced at the UAE-Greece Strategic Forum in Athens.

G42 and the Copelouzos Group agreed to explore an AI factory in Greece that would combine data-centre infrastructure with cloud and computing capacity. Khazna Data Centres would lead the physical build, and Core42 would provide cloud and AI computing for users in banking, telecoms, shipping and government.

Presight and Greece's Ministry of Digital Governance will explore AI-powered analytics for urban mobility and municipal operations, starting with waste management and water-network monitoring. Inception42 agreed to work on agentic AI across government and education, including tools for cabinet meetings, training officials and AI tutors.

M42 and Athens LifeTech Park signed a pact on life-sciences research, genomics sequencing and connecting biobanks, with a programme that would give UAE start-ups a base in Athens for entering the European market and give Greek ventures access to the UAE.

Mansoor Al Mansoori, Chief Executive of G42 International, said the agreements "mark an important milestone in expanding G42's intelligence grid across Europe". The agreements are initial ones, so investment amounts and timetables will depend on the contracts that follow.
