Dubai Medical University

Dubai Medical University (DMU) was officially established on 2 January 2025 by merging Dubai Medical College for Girls, opened on 1 August 1986, and Dubai Pharmacy College, opened in 1992, with a College of Nursing. Both colleges were founded by the late Haj Saeed Ahmed Lootah, and the university operates under the Saeed Ahmed Lootah Foundation, a non-profit charity.

Ownership of the medical college passed to the Saeed Ahmad Lootah Charity Foundation in September 2022.³
