BITS Pilani Dubai Campus

BITS Pilani Dubai Campus was established in 2000 as the only international campus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, an Indian university formed in 1964. It started with 61 students and two programmes in a rented building on Sheikh Zayed Road. It now offers 22 programmes on a 650,000 sq ft campus in Dubai International Academic City.

Study

Programmes are in engineering, technology and management, from the four-year Bachelor of Engineering to the MBA. Engineering students can take the Practice School option, which gives about seven and a half months of industry experience.^2,1
