About Al Dhafra Restaurant

Al Dhafra Restaurant is an Emirati and seafood restaurant at Mina Zayed in Abu Dhabi, established in 1993. Its site says the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan guided the owner of the group, Abdulah Hareb Al Fallahi, in founding the restaurant, and that the name was chosen at Sheikh Zayed's personal wish. Al Dhafra means where the sea meets the desert, after the region that makes up the western part of the emirate and about 80% of its area. Alongside its Emirati character, the menu covers seafood, Mediterranean and oriental dishes and international meals, including seafood set menus. The restaurant also provides catering for family, corporate and private events, both indoors and outdoors. When checked in November 2026, these details were taken from the restaurant's own website.
