Students and graduates
The first cohort of 78 graduate students came from 29 countries. At the first commencement, in February 2023, 52 students from 24 countries, including eight Emiratis, received master's and doctoral degrees in computer vision and machine learning.2,3
Study and research
The university began with master's and doctoral programmes in computer vision, machine learning and natural language processing. It is organised in divisions; two are running, Computing and Mathematical Sciences, and Biological and Life Sciences, out of five planned.5,4
