The marine engineering and maritime transport degrees prepare graduates for watchkeeper certificates of competency, as third engineer and second officer. Both are accredited by the UK Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and the logistics degree by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.3,4
Regulation
The academy is regulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. It also offers STCW seafarer training courses and certificate of competency upgrades.2
